I have been downloading a ton of 3D models, and I came across this one that really caught my eye. It is called Mecaflux Pro 3d 20, and it's a fully rigged character with several different poses already built in. This is going to make creating animations so much easier! I did a few more searches for other 3D models, and found some great ones! Check them out: Autodesk Motion Builder Car Model https://partner.autodesk. com/education/marketing/3d_print_models.html?s=cbf72fd74763e4e0a9ab1dbeb745b2a4 Poser Model Pack #1 https://partner.discountsoftwarestore.com/advsearch.aspx?k=Poser+Model+Pack+1&p=1&st=slc&vw=Poser+Model+Pack+1;sku;3;5;0;0;0;0;200000008935 3D Justice League Characters by Discreet 3D Hubs: http://3dhubs.discreet. com/ Opinion: Use the free versions of these programs. The demo versions are a better investment to save you time and frustration. I have found that the free versions usually have more advanced features than the paid versions. If you decide to use a paid software, it will be well worth it. Without further ado, let's get you to your first 3D model! 2) Download the file from Autodesk 3D Builder/Motion Builder or from http://www.blender3d.org/ 3) Open Blender and select File -> Import -> File System... from Model Creator panel on top right corner of your screen to import your file . If you have Motion Builder, select File -> Import -> Motion Builder to import your file . 4) The models should appear in the 3D view panel.ANIMATING IN BLENDER 2.58 Blender has a set of tools that allow you to create the illusion of movement by making objects move slightly between two key frames. These tools will make it much easier to animate your model and add movement. Now select Onion Skin from Timeline or Navigation Bar (2nd row, 5th icon from the right). The "onion skin" feature should be showing all objects in red frames (key frames), and also show the same objects in green(for intermediate) frames. To add a frame to your animation, select Show Onion Skin from the menu bar. From the editor tools menu, click the Add keyframe button to add a new frame. Next you want to add a blend node by going to Nodes -> Add Blend Node. A New Blend Nodes will pop up at the bottom of the interface and it should look like this: This is shown by clicking on Add which will show a New Blend Node dealing with your selected object. Next decide how you want your model's animations to start from because this adds an important layer of realism to your animation.
